IBM AIX Server Via Syslog

Configuration

• Log in to your IBM AIX appliance as a root user.
• Open the /etc/syslog.conf file.
• To forward the system authentication logs to Chronicle, add the following line to the file:
  auth.info @<Chronicle Forwarder IP>:11716
• Save and exit the file.
• Restart the syslog service:
  refresh -s syslogd

Note: By default IBM AIX Server will supports UDP protocol.
