The status mapping feature allows you to customize the default status to your desired status whether it is ActOn or Situation. You have the flexibility to tailor the available status to match your specific needs and workflows of your organization. You can often modify existing ones to align with your business requirements which ensure collaboration and productivity.
Resolution Intelligence Cloud supports the following status in the ActOn's or Situation's work area. You can customize (modify) them as per the specific workflows within your organization.
- New
- Acknowledged
- In Progress
- On Hold
- Healed
- Resolved
- Closed
Renaming an ActOn Status
Users with these roles have permissions to rename ActOn status:
- Configuration Manager
- Owner
- A User with Manager role
To create/rename the status,

Click
the gear icon at the top (or) hover over
icon at the top left corner.

In the bottom of the left menu, click Configurations.

In the left menu, under ActOns, click Status Mapping.
Status Mapping page opens with existing statuses. -
Click three dots
icon and select Rename next to a status (or)

Click Customize All at the top of status table to rename all statuses.

Enter your status and click
icon.
Previous status name will be replaced with a new name. For example, you can replace "Acknowledged" with "Open".

Now it's the time to set your customized status in a Situation or an ActOn.
