Nasuni File Service Logs

This topic describes the steps to configure Syslogs on the Nasuni File Services Platform.

Prerequisites

• Administrator login credentials.

Configuring syslogs in Nasuni File Service platform

1. Login to your Nasuni Management Console.

2. Navigate to Console Settings > Syslog Exports to configure the Syslog server.

3. In the Network section, configure the below fields:

• Hostname: Unique Name
• IP Address: Forwarder IP Address
• Port: 21666
• Protocol: TCP or UDP
• Format: SYSLOG+JSON

Once the configuration is completed, we need to validate the logs in chronicle using a regular expression such as (".*") This expression, or a specific hostname, will provide the log source types that are being ingested into chronicle. Below is a screen shot for reference.
