Assets Dashboard provides a single pane of glass view of all assets in the system regardless of the source. It acts as an interactive graph and analytical tool used for viewing assets from different perspectives. These perspectives provide insight on the maintainability of the assets by correlated event and situation-related information.
The assets dashboard consists of
- Asset Overview - gives a very high-level overview of the assets that are managed at tenant level. This is not available at organization or domain level.
- Asset Details - are classified into Summary and Visualization tabs. The widgets in the summary tab help you to explore the assets monitored with Resolution Intelligence and are classified into the following classes.
-
- Network
- Compute
- Data
- Security
- Application
- Others
-
Note: Assets can be onboarded only after you integrate with the source systems such as AWS, OpsRamp and Azure.
Dashboard Features
Criticality
Criticality level of an asset reflects how important the asset is to your organization's operations. This criticality depends on the availability, performance, and security of the asset. Criticality score is set between 0 to 1 for each metric and the highest metric score will be considered as the overall score of the asset. Based on the criticality score, Resolution Intelligence sends a notification to the respective personnel in order to mitigate the issue.
You can set the criticality score for each asset by clicking Set Criticality under Criticality column. Multiple assets can be assigned criticality score by selecting check boxes given left to each asset and clicking Set Criticality on the top of the screen.
Tags
Tags are the key-value pairs defined by the user based on the selection of words. By default, tags that originated from different sources are assigned automatically to every individual asset. Tags are assigned each color based on the source from where it originates.

OpsRamp |

Netenrich Resolution Intelligence |
You can add multiple tags to each individual asset by clicking Add Tags under Tags column. You can also add multiple tags to the multiple assets by selecting the check boxes given left to each asset and clicking Add Tags on top of the screen.
Note: Assigned yellow color to the customized tags as these are treated as Netenrich Resolution Intelligence source. You can delete the tags that are defined by you. Default tags cannot be deleted by any user and duplicate tags are not allowed.
Mark as Crown Jewel
If you enable this feature, your asset will be secured and monitored by the Resolution Intelligence. Security score will be assigned as '1' by default when you enable this option. You can select this option for each asset by clicking three dots next to the asset. Multiple assets can be marked as Crown Jewel by selecting checkboxes given left to each asset and clicking Mark as Crown Jewel.
Note: If you enable Mark as Crown Jewel for individual asset, the criticality metrics such as performance, and availability values would not change, and security will be set to '1' automatically. However, when you enable this feature for multiple assets, the criticality metrics performance, and availability values will be set to '0' and security will be set to '1'.
Assign Services
This feature enables you assign existing services or create new service for one or more assets to get notified when a situation triggers from the source systems. Select your desired assets, click Assign Services button just above the asset listing page to enable this feature. Learn more on Services.
Only Billable
When you enable this feature, the billable assets will be filtered and appeared on the screen. You will need to subscribe to our Resolution Intelligence subscription packages to avail billable assets. To enable this feature, click on the toggle switch on the top of your screen.
Filtering Assets
Filters help you to refine the selection of assets based on the default/customized tags and other attributes.
By Tags
Tags are the key value pairs that you can add based on your selection of words. You can filter the assets by entering the key value pairs or using default tags that are generated from the source systems automatically. Multiple tags can be selected under filtering criteria simultaneously.
By Other Attributes: Other attributes include
- Class - An abstraction to describe and normalize assets across data centers, public and private clouds. Class filters assets based on the class you select. You can select multiple classes from the dropdown menu under the filtering criteria. Subclasses - these are enabled only after you select the class. You can select multiple subclasses from the dropdown menu under the filtering criteria.
Classes and their mapping subclasses include,
