Disabling and Re-enabling a Service
Disabling a service is a good choice in the following cases.
- A service is no longer required, and its settings will be preserved for future reference.
- To stop the situation triggered by the responder.
Disabling a service is similar to putting the service on maintenance mode. New situations will not trigger while a service is in either of these states.
The main difference is that a maintenance window will eventually end and bring back the service online. The disabled service must be re-enabled manually.
Disabling a Service
- Navigate to Configurations -> Services. Search and select your desired service.
- From the Services screen, click on
next to the service.
- From the drop-down menu, click Disable.
Re-enabling a Service
- Navigate to Configurations --> Services. Search and select your desired service.
- From the Services screen, click on
next to the service.
- From the drop-down menu, click Enable.
