The article covers how to enable ManageEngine integration and add an instance to sync entities from ManageEngine to Resolution Intelligence Cloud.
Overview
The ManageEngine integration enables you to sync entities such as laptops, desktops, hosts, and other devices from ManageEngine to Resolution Intelligence Cloud. All synced entities are categorized under the Compute & Devices section, while entities without proper classification are categorized in the Unclassified section.
To set up this integration, you need to obtain an API key, Base URI, and Customer ID from your ManageEngine account. These details are required to complete the integration with Resolution Intelligence Cloud.
When adding an instance, you can define conditions to control which entities are synced to Resolution Intelligence Cloud. Once synced, these entities can be continuously monitored for security threats. You can also configure the sync frequency to determine how often entities are updated on the platform. Any new entities in ManageEngine will sync to Resolution Intelligence Cloud only at the specified frequency. However, you also have the option to manually sync new entities to the platform whenever needed.
Prerequisites
- API key (a token generated from the ManageEngine account). To learn the instructions to generate an API key, refer to the How to generate an API key article.
- Customer ID. To learn the instructions to generate a customer ID, refer to the how to get the customer ID article.
- Base URI

A condition expression can consist of several phrases, joined by an AND (or) OR. For each phrase, select a field, operator, and value. Click the button to add an additional row. Use the parentheses and AND/OR options to join the phrases together to form a condition expression.
The conditions include the following attributes:
- Alias Name
- Created time
- Updated time
- Name
4. Under Schedule, choose the frequency at which entities should sync from ManageEngine to the Resolution Intelligence Cloud.
Timezone: Select the appropriate Timezone at which the sync should happen. (for example, (UTC+05:30) Asia/Kolkata)
Time: Select the appropriate date and time at which the sync should happen.
Repeat: From the drop-down, select the following
