This article covers the steps to configure custom values for status, state and priority attributes used in the application.
ActOn Settings enables you to configure customized values for the status, stage, and priority attributes. By default, system-defined values are available for all three attributes. However, you have the flexibility to modify these settings to suit your specific requirements. Any changes you make to these settings will be reflected across all functionalities where these attributes are used within the application.
Configurable Attributes
Configure Status: Define custom statuses that align with your workflow. This customization allows for precise tracking of ActOn or Situation status.
Configure Stage: Set up various stages that correspond to the different phases of ActOn or Situation life cycle.
Configure Priority: Set up custom priorities to ensure that the ActOns are addressed according to their urgency and importance.
Configuring status values
Use this procedure to configure new values for status.
1. From the Home screen, navigate to Configurations -->ActOns --> ActOn Settings. The ActOn Settings page appears.
2. View the default values for the status.
3. Click Edit to change the values of one or all the status.
4. Change the values for each status name and click Save.
If you want to reset the new values to the default values, you can use the Reset to Defaults option.
The custom status values can be viewed under the Status field in both the ActOn and Situation work areas.
Configuring stage values
Use this procedure to configure new values for stage attribute.
1. From the Home screen, navigate to Configurations -->ActOns --> ActOn Settings. The ActOn Settings page appears.
2. View the default values for the stage.
3. Click Edit to change the values of one or all the stages.
4. Change the values for each stage name and click Save.
If you want to reset the new values to the default values, you can use the Reset to Defaults option.
The custom stage values can be viewed under the Stage field in both the ActOn and Situation work areas.
Configuring Priority values
Use this procedure to configure new values for priority attribute.
1. From the Home screen, navigate to Configurations -->ActOns --> ActOn Settings. The ActOn Settings page appears.
2. Navigate to the Priority tab to view the default priority values.
3. Click Edit to change the values of one or all the priority values.
4. Once changes, click Save to update the changes.
If you want to reset the new values to the default values, you can use the Reset to Defaults option.
The custom priority values can be viewed under the priority field in ActOn and Situation work areas.
