Import entities feature enables users to import large sets of entities from CSV files directly into Resolution Intelligence Cloud. This import option is especially valuable for organizations without existing integration options, allowing them to sync bulk entities with Resolution Intelligence Cloud in one go. This feature is available at the tenant level.
Key capabilities include:
- Bulk Import from CSV: Users can upload a CSV file with entity details and map the CSV columns to corresponding fields in Resolution Intelligence Cloud, ensuring accurate data import and reducing discrepancies and errors. Users can choose to import all entities or specific entities based on the conditions set in the ingestion policy.
- CSV Data Preview: Before finalizing the import, users can preview the mapping between the CSV file columns and the Resolution Intelligence Cloud fields, allowing for verification and adjustments to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Job History and Import Status: After import, users can view a detailed job history showing both successfully imported records and any failures, along with the reasons for the failures. This visibility helps users quickly resolve any import issues.
- Email Notifications: Users receive email notifications upon the completion of the import, whether it is fully or partially successful. For partially successful imports, the email includes a detailed error report listing all encountered issues.
