Introduction
While configuring your Chronicle instance in Resolution Intelligence Cloud™, it’s essential to monitor the setup progress to ensure each step completes successfully.
A successful setup requires various configuration steps to be completed accurately. Monitoring the progress of these steps helps to ensure a seamless setup and catch any errors that might prevent certain features from functioning correctly.
The Activity section within the platform provides real-time insights into the configuration process, allowing you to verify each step and identify any potential issues promptly. This document outlines the details displayed in the Activity section and explains how to use it to monitor configuration progress.
Monitoring Configuration Progress
The Activity section within Resolution Intelligence Cloud™ displays real-time updates on the configuration process, providing visibility into each step as it executes.
Activity Section Overview
The following details are displayed in the Activity section for each configuration step:
- Step: The current configuration step being executed. You can click on each step to expand it, revealing any sub-steps involved. Each sub-step will indicate whether it has been enabled successfully. If a step is not enabled, a note will appear explaining the reason for the failure, allowing you to troubleshoot as needed.
- Associated Keys: Lists the specific keys associated with the step, helping you verify which credentials are being used at each stage of the configuration.
- Total Modules: Shows the total number of modules that are intended to be enabled as part of this step. This provides a quick overview of how many components are required to complete the step.
- Enabled: Reflects the number of modules that have been successfully enabled in the step, confirming that those components are active and configured correctly.
- Not Enabled: Indicates the count of modules that have failed to enable. Reviewing this number helps in quickly identifying if any issues have occurred during configuration.
- Description: Provides a brief description of each step. This description explains the purpose of the step, giving context for how it contributes to the overall configuration process.
