Understanding Attack Surface Exposure Visualizations

This article explains the fundamentals of attack surface exposure and multiple analytical dashboards obtained as a result of attack surface exposure mapping to the MITRE matrix.

Each threat posed from no loss to huge impact on the organization's IT infrastructure. How do you know that your IT assets are at stake for an attacker? 

Risk Score:

The Risk score denotes how harmful a threat is. This score is obtained from a variety of factors, including likelihood of threat, impact, and confidence in the rule that you define to detect vulnerabilities from different sources. A higher score indicates a high risk imposed on the asset; a lower score indicates a lower risk imposed on the asset.

Severity of Risk score:

To understand the analytics, navigate to each tab of the Attack Surface Exposure dashboard by clicking on Security --> Attack Surface Exposures.
