This article explains the multiple dashboards available under the overview tab of an attack surface exposure module.
The leaderboard widget displays the number of risky signals generated from different sources for each category of entities that are exposed to external threats.
The category of attack with the highest risk score appears at the top of the hierarchy in the Overview tab. For example, vulnerability with a risk score of 96 appears at the top, followed by threat correlation, misconfiguration, and brand exposure. The hierarchy of these charts always updates automatically whenever the risk score changes for each entity type.
The corresponding line charts display the risk score generated on each day of the month. Table shows the checks performed with the highest severity level of signal for each entity type.
When you click on any link under the summary column in the below snapshots, it navigates you to the Risk tab by automatically applying filters (open, category, sub-category) to that signal, where you can change the status of the signal to closed by following this Changing Signal State procedure.
Checks performed - Customized rules are defined to perform different checks on attacks from an external environment and assign a risk score to each signal.
Summary - Detailed summary of each check performed
Date Performed - The date on which the check is performed
Risk Indicator - Displays the color of each check based on the severity level (Low, Medium, High, Critical, and No Risk)
