Dashboards in the published state can only be cloned. Each dashboard is associated with a module, and you can view the associated module on the Dashboard listing page.
You can clone a dashboard from either the Dashboard listing page or the Module listing page.
To clone a dashboard:
- Open the Dashboard listing page.
- Click the hamburger menu and select Dashboards.
- Choose one of the following methods to clone a dashboard:
- On the Dashboard listing page, click the ellipsis icon (⋮) next to the dashboard you want to clone and select Clone Dashboard.
- On the Module listing page, click the desired module card to open the module list view. Hover over the dashboard name to view the ellipsis icon and select Clone Dashboard.
- In the Clone Dashboard side panel, specify the following:
- Dashboard Name – Enter a name for the cloned dashboard.
- Description – Provide a description for the dashboard.
- Select the hierarchy under which the dashboard should be cloned. You can clone a dashboard to the following levels:
- Domain – Available only when cloning at the domain level.
- Organization – Available when cloning from the domain or organization level.
- Tenant – Available when cloning at the tenant level.
- Select the module and category under which the cloned dashboard should be placed.
The available modules and categories vary based on the selected hierarchy level. - (Optional) If the desired module is not listed:
- Click Create Module to add a new module.
- Provide the module name and description.
- Click Done. The cloned dashboard moves to the Draft state.
- Click the ellipsis icon next to the cloned dashboard in the Draft state. This opens the dashboard page where you can add or remove widgets.
- Click Create. This opens the Create Dashboard side panel.
- Review the dashboard details:
- Confirm the Dashboard Name and Description.
- Select the default date range for displaying data in the dashboard widgets.
- Last 30 Days (default)
- Last 7 Days
- Last 90 Days
- Update module and category selections if needed.
- You can add more modules or replace existing ones under which the dashboard should be cloned.
- Click Proceed. This publishes the dashboard to the workspace of the selected hierarchy level.
