Table of Contents:
This article explains how you can customize various widgets available in the dashboard area.
Once the widget is added to a dashboard, Resolution Intelligence Cloud enables you to customize the default widget that you added in the dashboard work area.
To customize a widget,
- Select the widget in the dashboard work area.
- Click the Format Visual tab on the right-side.
- On the General sub-tab, you can modify the following:
- Widget Name (Optional) - You can change the default name of a widget by entering a custom name in this field.
- Widget Description (Optional)- Add a description of a widget.
If the widget is a table, you can view the Table Configuration section, where you can customize the table properties:
- No. of rows per page – Specifies the number of records to display per page. Available options include 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50.
- Resizable columns – Enable this option to allow users to adjust column widths.
- Suppress repeated – Enable this option to hide duplicate values in consecutive rows within the same column.
- Column display name – Allows you to change the display name of each column (dimensions and metrics). You can update the display name for primary or secondary dimensions and metrics. The updated name will be reflected on the widget after saving.
- Column group name – Used to assign a group name for logically grouping related columns.
- Hide group name – Enable this option to hide the displayed group name in the table.
If the widget is a graph, you can view the Display Name section:
- Change the display name for the primary dimension, secondary dimension, and metrics on the graph. The updated name will be displayed on the widget after saving.
5. Click Save.
