Disabling and Re-enabling a Function
Disabling a function is a good choice in the following cases:
- A function is no longer required, and its settings will be preserved for future reference.
- To stop the situation triggered by the responder.
Disabling a function is similar to putting the function in maintenance mode. New situations will not trigger while a function is in either of these states.
The main difference is that a maintenance window will eventually end and bring the function back online. The disabled function must be re-enabled manually.
